I could write a blog post on each of my class offerings – and may well do in the future but for now I have grouped them all together to give you a brief overview.
Please get in touch to hear more or to enquire about me providing any of these offerings to your workplace, school, group etc.
Three weekly classes at Yoga Quarter in Ballyhackmore:
- 10 am slow flow class on Monday – in this class we really focus on mindful movements where we have time to get into poses and build each pose into a flow. This is a great class if you are new to yoga or like a class where you can become familiar with key foundational poses and move mindfully through flows.
- 7am vinyasa flow class on Wednesday – in this class we slowly warm up the body and then build up some heat flowing through core poses in different sequences, helping open the body and clear the head for the day ahead.
- 10am beginners class on Friday – this class is very similar to Monday slow flow class, however as this class is beginners there is more direction and guidance on our key poses.
I aim to make both Monday and Friday classes suitable for beginners and those with more experience. I use sound bowls at the end of these classes to really help deepen relaxation and release tension. This is a lovely opportunity to experience the benefits of therapeutic sound.

Beginners and beyond is a weekly class at Maitri in East Belfast on Mondays 6.15pm – 7.15pm. These classes are usually offered in 6 week blocks, by committing to 6 weeks in advance, this helps you to keep motivation up and see and feel progression over the 6 weeks.
These are small classes and are suitable for beginners as well as those with more experience. They include breath work, movement and meditation.
Last week of class I bring some yummy homemade treats and my sound bowls.

Corporate yoga
I offer one off as well as weekly corporate yoga classes where I come to your location or remotely online and provide yoga and breath work classes – these can be tailored to the needs and experience of the class.
Kids yoga
I offer kids yoga and breath work classes from pre school age (age 3 upwards) up to end of primary school (age 11) where I come to your preschool or primary school. These classes are a great way to introduce kids to mindfulness techniques and foster their mind – body connection.
Chair yoga
I offer chair yoga classes for those with limited mobility, most recently running a 6 week block of 45 minute classes for an elderly women’s group in Belfast which included chair yoga, breath work and relaxation. These classes can be tailored as required to meet the needs of the group.
Therapeutic sound
I like to use singing bowls at the end of my classes as part of relaxation / meditation (currently using in 10am Monday and Friday classes at Yoga Quarter) and I bring them into my regular workshops. Sound, in particular singing bowls resonate with every cell in the body to release barriers and restore balance in the body’s energy field. They really help to deepen relaxation – many who come to my classes say this has become their favourite part of the class.
The sounds of bowls resonate with every cell in the body to release barriers and restore balance in the body’s energy field.
I plan to write a full blog post on the power of sound soon!
Workshops
I run workshops throughout the year, mainly at Yoga Quarter and Maitri.
These bring together all of my currently offerings, recent workshops have been aimed at relieving stress, letting go of tension and balancing the seven energy centres (chakras) in the body and have included:
– a gentle chakra focused slow flow yoga practice, suitable for beginners
– restorative yoga poses to help promote a place of comfort and ease within the body and mind
– a guided meditation and the use of therapeutic sounds to integrate into a place of deep relaxation and alignment.
My last workshop of the year will be at Yoga Quarter on 15th December – at this busy time of the year, what could be better than two hours on a Sunday afternoon to totally destress….
